Mix dry ingredients.
Mix wet ingredients.
Just before you are ready to cook the pancakes mix the wet and dry ingredients together (mix, let set, mix, let set, mix) until the batter is smooth. I like to use a wire whisk.
Heat frying pan to almost smoking.
Pour the batter into the pan and when holes form turn the cakes they should
be a golden brown after a short time turn if the cakes are brown remove from
pan.
